A good match for developers who want a predictable monthly figure rather than a list of metered extras. Droplets bill per second but stop at the monthly price, which already covers the boot SSD and a public IPv4, and each one adds 4,000–9,000 GiB to a transfer pool shared across the team. Overage is $0.01/GiB, far below hyperscaler egress, though compute costs more per vCPU than at Hetzner or OVHcloud and there are no public commitment discounts.
