Stytch
API-first authentication and fraud prevention for consumer and B2B apps, owned by Twilio. 10,000 MAU and 5 SSO/SCIM connections free.
With no base fee, the free allowance covers early apps and the first few enterprise customers, since SSO and SCIM share 5 free connections. Growth is where it gets expensive: the page's own estimator uses $0.20 per extra MAU, the highest per-MAU rate in this category, and switches to contact us above about $2,000/month. Extra SSO or SCIM connections are $125/month each. Infrastructure is US-only, and Twilio has owned the company since November 2025.

Pricing
Published rates converted using workload assumptions. Read the notes. Uses the vendor calculator's MAU rate and extrapolates beyond its roughly $2,000/month contact-sales boundary. Larger-app rates need a quote. How to read these estimates.

Rates are shown at their recorded precision. A zero means no charge in this calculation; the vendor may charge for things we leave out. See the notes for usage assumptions and currency conversions.

Pay-as-you-go with no base fee. The pricing page table only says "volume discounts" for MAUs above 10,000, but the page's own cost estimator uses $0.20 per extra MAU ($200 per 1k) and switches to "contact us" above about $2,000/month, so large consumer apps should expect a negotiated rate. An FAQ example on the same page mentions $0.05/MAU. SSO and SCIM connections share the 5 free, then $125/month per connection. M2M tokens $0.005 each after 1,000. Removing Stytch branding and full email customisation is a $99 add-on. SMS OTP is billed at carrier rates on top. Stytch runs on US infrastructure only. Acquired by Twilio in November 2025.
