TomTom Maps APIs
TomTom's map display, geocoding, search and routing APIs with a free monthly allowance and graduated per-request pricing.
A free allowance of 200,000 tile requests and 20,000 geocodes a month, with no credit card, makes TomTom easy to trial, and the eu-api.tomtom.com hostname pins requests to the EU. Tiles cost $0.10 per 1,000 up to 10M, roughly $1.50 per 1,000 map loads on the 15-tile model, with graduated discounts beyond. Geocoding at $1.00 per 1,000 is dearer than HERE ($0.88) or Amazon Location Service ($0.50), and storing results beyond caching is restricted by the API terms.

Map Display API vector tiles are billed per tile: 200K free, then $0.10 per 1,000 tiles up to 10M, $0.08 to 50M, $0.07 to 100M, above that enterprise. Modelled at ~15 tiles per map load (Azure Maps' convention), i.e. $1.50 per 1,000 map loads with ~13K loads free; real tile counts depend on viewport and panning. Geocoding API: 20K free, then $1.00 per 1,000 up to 1M, $0.80 to 5M, $0.65 to 10M, above that enterprise. Graduated tiers; plans are the affine pieces of that curve. The pricing calculator shows the same figures in EUR and USD (EUR 0.10 / EUR 1.00). Requests can be pinned to the EU with the eu-api.tomtom.com regional hostname. Storing geocoding results beyond caching is restricted by TomTom's API terms; check the licence for permanent storage. TomTom N.V., Amsterdam (listed on Euronext).
