Amazon Location puts maps and geocoding on your AWS bill. Map display costs $0.04 per 1,000 tiles, which we estimate as $0.60 per 1,000 map loads; panning and viewport size change that figure. Geocoding starts at $0.50 per 1,000, but permanent storage requires the Stored pricing bucket at $4.00 per 1,000. There is no ongoing free tier.

Dynamic maps are billed per tile from GetTiles: $0.04 per 1,000 tiles (styles, glyphs and sprites free). Modelled at ~15 tiles per map load (Azure Maps' convention), i.e. $0.60 per 1,000 map loads; actual tile counts depend on viewport and panning. Geocode (Core bucket) $0.50 per 1,000 requests; Advanced fields $1.50. Core/Advanced results may not be stored permanently; setting IntendedUse=Storage bills the Stored bucket at $4.00 per 1,000. Prices from the AWS Price List API (EU Frankfurt; same as US East). EU regions (Frankfurt, Ireland, Stockholm etc.) keep requests in the EU. AWS GDPR DPA is part of the service terms.
