Speechify API
Speechify's developer TTS API (Simba models) with monthly plans that include usage and a published per-character rate for overage.
Overage rates fall with plan size on the self-serve plans: Starter at $10 includes 1.9M characters, Pro at $99 13.5M and Scale at $499 78M, with overage at $10, $8 and $6 per million from a prepaid top-up balance. Unlike Cartesia or Inworld credits, the allowance does not roll over, and only Scale includes batch synthesis. Self-serve models cover English (Simba 3.2) or 6 languages (Simba 3.0), and no EU region is documented.

SpeechifyAI is billed separately from the Speechify Reader app. Self-serve plans are month to month with no annual option: Free 500K characters (cannot top up), Starter $10 (1.9M characters, then $10 per million), Pro $99 (13.5M, then $8), Scale $499 (78M, then $6; only plan with batch synthesis). Overage is drawn from a prepaid top-up balance at the plan rate; the monthly allowance does not roll over.
