Assumptions per page: image tokens for a ~1,000x1,400 px page, a 300-token prompt, ~800 output tokens of markdown. OpenAI's patch-based models bill ceil(w/32) x ceil(h/32) patches x 1.2 = 32 x 44 x 1.2 = 1,690 tokens (the 1.2 multiplier is documented for the GPT-5.4/5.6 and GPT-6 Astra models; Luna's is assumed equal). Per 1,000 pages: input 1,000 x (1,690 + 300) = 1.99M x $0.10 = $0.199; output 0.8M x $0.50 = $0.40; total $0.599. Batch API halves this. GPT-5.4 mini ($0.75/$4.50) works out to $5.09 per 1,000 pages.
